A Food for Thought.

In today’s world, traditional norms are rapidly dissolving, especially in industries like communications & marketing. As an international student, I’ve noticed how this shift makes it easier for individuals like myself to fit in, and it motivates us to contribute confidently to the company or professional society we belong to.

One of the most critical aspects of the communications industry is understanding the diverse and multicultural audiences we serve. We communicate with people of various genders, age groups, and backgrounds. Imagine someone in their 40s who, because of life experiences, can think from the perspective of an 18-year-old. The beauty of diversity is that anyone, regardless of age or background, can offer a groundbreaking idea that could change the world. Why would we limit that potential by enforcing outdated standards of age, race, or gender?

Today, we see women thriving in fields once dominated by men, take, for example, the outdated stereotype of women not driving pickup trucks. Now, that's laughable. We've surpassed those barriers, just as we're embracing new ones such as the inclusion of multiple genders and providing equal opportunities across the board. This era is about rewriting norms, shifting perspectives, and accepting the full spectrum of diversity.

This shift in our thinking is essential. In a few years, I believe it will become the standard for businesses and industries to embrace diversity as a norm, rather than an exception. As a creative individual, I thrive in such an environment. My passion lies in brainstorming and offering fresh ideas that cater to this ever-changing landscape. I understand consumers because I am one, and as part of a new generation, I can tap into the minds of today’s diverse audiences to create campaigns that truly resonate. Whether it’s crafting a PR strategy or communicating with Millennials or Gen Z, I aim to be at the forefront of this shift: creating, contributing, and building inclusive, innovative campaigns that matter.

The future of communication is bright, inclusive, and driven by creativity. We are not just breaking old norms, we are creating new ones: ones that celebrate every voice.
